Marco Bubani Innovation Director

I was born in Ravenna on 31 October 1974.

Telecommunications Engineering has always been my “daily bread”.

Having earned my University Diploma in 1997 (3 years of Engineering), I went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in 2003.

After a year of working with a company operating in the special plant engineering sector, I joined VEM sistemi in 1998 where my career took off and where I covered various roles within the technical sector. I led projects for structured cabling and networking related to wireless and security.

In 2006, I became the Manager of the Security & IT Governance team focusing on increasing the culture of security as a management process, as well as a set of technological systems.
We worked on risk analysis, privacy and internet law projects as the main drivers for implementing solutions capable of reducing exposure to threats.

In 2009, I became the Manager of Design & Delivery which represents the solutions portfolio that VEM offers to the market. I coordinate 5 technological and 4 regional teams involving over 50 specialists and collaborators.

In January 2014 I also became a partner in VEM.

I assumed the new role of Innovation Director in January 2017.

Since 2019, I have been CEO of mydev.
