Born in Piombino in 1970, I attained a High School Diploma as a Qualified Electronics Technician from the G. Galilei Industrial Technical Institute of Livorno. I studied Law at the University of Pisa’s Faculty of Law from 1989 to 1991, where I became a working student.
In 1996, I joined the Italian Army as an Officer of the Infantry Division where I served for over 3 years, acquiring experience in the management of men, vehicles and materials in Italian and foreign operations contexts. During this period, I had the opportunity of attending highly specialized training courses and of facing the challenge of achieving pre-set objectives with determination and flexibility.
I started my collaboration with VEM sistemi in 1999, covering the role of Purchasing Manager. During my career with VEM, I have been responsible for procurement, organization, logistics, staff and the information system.
In 2009, I became a member of the “Giovani Industriali della provincia di Forlì-Cesena” (young industrialists of the Forlì-Cesena Province).
From 2016 to 2023 I was elected to the Council of the Emilia Romagna Marche section of ADACI (Italian Purchasing and Supply Management Association), I was also elected to the National Council in 2020 and reconfirmed for the three-year period 2023/25. In December 2022 I assumed the role of National Vice President of ADACI
Today, I cover the role of Operations Director with direct responsibility for the Procurement, Information Systems, General Services and Logistics sections.
