Forlì, July 10 2023 – VEM sistemi, a system integrator based in Forlì, has finalised the acquisition of NEEN S.p.A., a Managed Cloud Provider specialised in the design, implementation and management of distributed, high-reliability infrastructures. NEEN is one of the first in Italy to have expertise in elastic systems and to introduce the Cloud in the management of IT services.
This acquisition is part of the Merge & Acquisition strategy that VEM Group designed several years ago, which includes targeted acquisitions in technology areas that are complementary or adjacent to the areas in which the group operates. NEEN is a ‘cloud services boutique’ that has strong competencies in distributed cloud. Therefore, the acquisition represents a strengthening and synergic extension of expertise and customers that the VEM Group has long considered a necessary step to strengthen and accelerate its presence in strategic market and technology areas, in order to continue to be increasingly competitive in the ICT and digital arena in general.

The acquisition, moreover, is part of a well-defined strategy of the Group, which aims to base the services offered to its customers on four pillars: technology integration with VEM sistemi, cybersecurity with Certego, software development with Mydev, and finally Cloud integration with NEEN.
