A Four-Stage Journey Through Innovation and Technology where companies share the future of business by showcasing their experience with the technologies driving change
VEM sistemi announces the second edition of the “Roads to Innovation” roadshow—a journey through stories of innovation that, from February to May, will visit several cities across Italy. Each stop will explore a different theme, illustrating how technology can be a driver of transformation and business enabler. The real protagonists of this journey, alongside the Forlì-based system integrator, will be leading companies from the Italian business landscape, sharing their stories, unique qualities, and real-life innovation experiences. The first stop, titled “Brewing a Robust IT Transformation”, kicks off on Tuesday, February 25, with Essse Caffè—a prestigious Bologna-based coffee roaster specializing in out-of-home consumption—at Hotel I Portici in Bologna, starting at 9:30 AM.
Founded in 1979 and defined by the three “S”s—Science, Knowledge, and Specialization—Essse Caffè is now a successful brand in Italy and abroad, known for authenticity and excellence.During the event, Essse Caffè will explain how it has made its IT infrastructure more secure and resilient through technological investments, advanced monitoring, and managed services, relying on VEM sistemi’s expertise to handle its IT operations. The day will also feature: Fortinet, presenting strategies for secure and efficient SD-WAN network management, with a focus on OT environment protection, enhanced by SD-Factorii—VEM’s proprietary SaaS solution for monitoring network and security infrastructure in production facilities. NetApp, exploring the topic of data protection, with insights into advanced backup and managed disaster recovery solutions—essential for ensuring operational continuity and integrity. The day will conclude with a true Coffee Experience by Essse Caffè—a sensory journey into the world of coffee—hosted at their historic headquarters in Via Galliera, Bologna.
